Europe

Europe is the continent in which I have the most destinations listed in. Not only does it contain natural wonders of the world, but also man-made monuments and structures full of culture and history. Icy lakes, fields of flowers, tunnels of green, castles, and towers. Europe has it all!

Would you believe me if I told you that passing through this tunnel takes you to another world? That is false of course, however not completely. It is when YOU are passing through the tunnel that makes you feel like you're in another world, or at least, that's how I imagine it.

Welcome to Halnaker! Located in West Sussex, England. A charming hamlet known for its scenic Halnaker Windmill as well as the seemingly magical Halnaker Tree Tunnel. Honestly, I'm tempted to choose it as the place where I'd settle down. Here are some photos found online!

Bluebell Fields

Blue just so happens to be my favorite color, and naturally Bluebells are some of my favorite flowers. Though I'm not much of a flower person, I have read somewhere that in the language of flowers, Bluebells mean everlasting love. I'm quite the sentimental person so I find that very beautiful.

There are many Bluebell Fields in the world but it seems to be the most prevalent in the United Kingdom. The most beautiful ones seem to be located there too. Here are some photos online.

Ice Bubbles of Lago Bianco

It's time for another lake! Lago Biano, is a stunning alpine lake located at the Bernina Pass in Graubünden, Switzerland. It sits at 2,234 meters above sea level and is perfect for hiking and photography.

Now here's where things get exciting! When the lake freezes over, you might see something like bubbles frozen underneath the lake! These ice bubbles are actually methane gas released from decaying organic matter at the bottom of the lake being trapped in the ice when the lake froze over. Here are some of its photos!
